Guides to the Marche
Martin Nettleton, Yorkshire: We'll be spending a couple of weeks roaming around the Marche area of Italy this summer and I wondered if you could suggest a reference along the lines of the Classement or the Hachette ? I've looked at the article you posted in oct 04 on the Gambero Rosso winners but would like to locate them and plot them on the charts! me: Certainly Gambero Rosso holds the key. Their annual guide, called simply Italian Wines in English, devotes half a page to all significant wine producers and lists them by lcommune, alphabetically within region, so you'd have no problem plotting them.
