Self-employed salesman, Oakland, CA: High alcohol : I am a low alc guy. I used to drink a lot of Zin, now rarely touch it. I am a wine salesman, selling both Calif and Euro wines, in Calif, and I deal with this every day. I use the phrase "bottom of the bottle". How long does it take to get there? A 16 per cent red wine takes eight people 3 or 4 hours. A 13 per cent wine, two people, 45 minutes, and violà. Port tastes good but you just don't move much of it out of the glass.
