Leslie, Talley Vineyards, CA: Just saw your article regarding Sonoma Creek Chardonnay (sorry I didn't see it sooner).  I worked for Sonoma Creek during the vintages mentioned.  The vast majority of grapes used in the Chardonnay were actually Estate fruit owned by the Larson family. There were a few tons added that were owned by other people, yet were still farmed by the Larsons.  The Sonoma Merlot and Cabernet were also owned and farmed primarily by the Larsons.  The winemaker that you refered to as previously working for Catena was not the winemaker during those vintages.  The winemaker at that time was Todd Graff, formerly of...
