Tasting note search - a progress report
Peter O'Neill, New York: Just joined the site - my second day. I have to say that I echo the comments of a fellow member (Ray Farris of Singapore) who posted on 19 jul last year that the search engine feature needed to be vamped up to allow readers to (in Ray's words) know about "wine x in year y" à la a certain website run out of Maryland. At the time you responded saying that you agreed, but that it would take time. Twelve months later, any thoughts on allowing us simple winos do a straight comparison of wines by vintage etc through the search feature? That's the only point I'd make.
