Tracking down French wine producers...
Simon Dyson, Wimbledon: Camille Giroud (in your Burgundy 2003 tasting notes ) is a new name to me. Do you have contact information for this producer? The only wine- growing Girouds I can find are in Switzerland. Is there a directory (other than Pages Jaunes !) of all French wine makers? me: Camille Giroud is an interesting story. It was an old Beaune negociant with particularly good stocks of quite mature wine, acquired in 2002 by a group of investors, largely American and including the Napa Valley vintner Ann Colgin amd her husband Joe Wender who also have an interest in Ch Lascombes.
