Who makes the sweetest and driest vintage ports?

Philip Harvey, Poole, Dorset: I read with interest your ratings of the 2003 vintage port realeases and wondered if you can cast any light on the following. Is it possible to grade the various port shippers' typical 'house styes' according to their sweetness? I appreciate that conditions are different for each vintage but are some houses' vintage offerings generally made sweeter (or less sweet) than others? I have searched the internet in vain for any sort of 'sweetness grading' of the big namesĀ  - can you cast any light on this? me: An interesting question and one I apologise for allowing to sit in my inbox for a two or three...
