More DRC considerations

Damien Casten, Candid Wines, IL: I have found a 1969 DRC Grands Echézeaux that I am considering purchasing for the Bear Necessities tasting in November.  Have you tasted any of the 1969's?  Are there any issues with falsified bottles from that period?  I just purchased a 1989 Grands Echézeaux, and have a chance to buy a 1999 Grands Echezeaux as well for a 30-year vertical.  My feeling is that a vertical of these more "affordable" wines will be more interesting than one bottle of La Tâche or Montrachet that might eat the whole budget.  Your thoughts?  me: I'm sure you are right to go for a vertical of GE rather than...
