Peter Harvey, Norwich: Jancis - I think I finally get it about Burgundy I'd even spent a fortnight based in a gite in Fixin a couple of years ago to try and "discover" what it was about French Pinot Noir that everyone raves about, but I tasted nothing (that I could afford) that enthused me, and much was downright unpleasant. But (fanfare) an off-chance purchase last week from my local Morrisons incredibly enough has finally found me and a bottle of decent Burgundy in the same room. It was a generic bin-end Gevrey-Chambertin 2002 reduced from only £14.99 to a ridiculous £10.99 and it was absolutely lovely, finally getting that...
