Peter Sive, London: Have you tasted Ch Rayas 1998 recently? I remember you writing a glowing note some while ago, but I also remember you recently being fairly down on the 1998s. If you had some (I've got a half case) would you hold it, drink it or flog it? me: You can see my (only) note on it, written way back when it was a baby in may 01 in Rayas v Beaucastel – a vertical. As you can see, I was then very enthusiastic about how the wine tasted but thought it already strangely forward.
