San Franciscans praise London restaurants
Eric Lecours, San Francisco: My wife and I spent last week in London and had a wonderful time. We took your travel advice and went to Chez Bruce , a Michelin one star with two forks. We called on Tuesday and got a table for Wednesday at 6:30. The food was superb. We ordered all wines by the glass - what a list! I had white Daumas Gassac and a red '98 Vieux Télégraphe with my blanquette of pork. The food was outstanding and Terry Threlfall, the sommelier, took wonderful care of us, serving 50 year-old sherries to top things off. Our experience here was the highlight of our trip.
