Mount Mary Cabernets - worse than Oxford Landing?
James North, Australia: When Mark Wickman says that Robert Parker has "created a pariah of one of Australia's iconic wines, causing massive controversy amongst wine oenophiles around Australia" he is referring to Mt Mary Cabernets . Robert Parker panned the wine in the latest Wine Advocate , saying it was a poor copy of a petit château and gave it 83 (one point less than Oxford Landing!). Some critics in Australia are not convinced by Mount Mary, while others (eg Jeremy Oliver) rave about it. I'd be interested in your view, given you taste so much bordeaux.
