Buying wine in Savoie
Julia Tickridge, Chester: Firstly, I have been enjoying immensely your selections for the Christmas market in the FT last weekend - especially the Montagny Premier Cru , your wine of the week last week on these pages. I think I've had more than my fair share from the Morrisons in Chester! Secondly, whilst I shall continue to enjoy Christmas wines available in the UK before the event, I shall be away for both Christmas and New Year (lucky me!) in Tignes, Savoie. What can you recommend to me from this region whilst I am there - and what will survive the journey home? me: We had a remarkably similar question to this...
