Can you or readers tell me their experiences of cellaring wine at altitude? A search of your site brings up much on viticulture and some on drinking at altitude, but nothing I can see on cellaring. We like to let our customers know what older vintages are drinking well now from our vineyard's mountainside cellars, 2000 feet above sea level. I wondered (all other factors including temperature being equal), would a customer in Telluride CO (8750') or another in Death Valley, California (-200') have different results from their cellars with the same wines? I...
