Gary Gillman, Toronto: Hi Jancis, I spent two days in London last week before travelling up to Leeds to do some work there. When in London prior to going to Manzi's in Soho (it was wonderful), we stopped at All Bar One, the one on Oxford Street just east of Tottenham Court Road. We sampled the house Champagne which was just lovely, it was Moet's and offered in the regular and rose forms. Do you have any opinion on All Bar One? It seemed a pleasant place, peopled mostly by the younger set, and I wish I had had more time to study the wine offerings.
