Now I don't expect Ryanair to be participating in such a promotion for the Languedoc but Aussie wines are hitting Europe with a price vengeance which appears to defy commercial logic. As a wine maker in the Minervois, I get somewhat irritated by hearing of one million cases of Hardys wine hitting the UK at A$18 per case (and Denmark) before duty - and which we are now seeing at £3.99 per bottle in supermarket offers. Now while I am happy for the supermarket...
