Regarding your comment in wines of the week yesterday concerning direct sales from France, Domaine Jean Marechal of Mercurey ship from France to the UK at their basic French cellar door prices. Maximum 120 bottles, with transport charges of 100 euros up to 36 bottles; 1.90 euros per bottle for 48 to 60 bottles; 1.40 euros for 72 to 96 bottles; and 1.20 euros for 108 to 120 bottles. Not unreasonable for a larger order.
