Goan port and other Indian delicacies

David Churchill, Toronto:   Jancis, after having just returned from five weeks in Goa, India, I thought I'd share a few thoughts on my (limited) exposure to wine in India.   Generally, Goa is an untapped land for wine appreciation. The Goans understand that sweeter wines work best with their brilliant cuisine, but what they like is quite inappropriate - locally produced 'ports' and chilled Italian vermouth.
