How to 'get into' European Rieslings
Jeff Parris, UK: Having at long last viewed your excellent Wine Course DVD (had the book for years!) and heard you enthuse about Riesling and especially Old World varieties from Germany, Austria and Alsace, my wife and I would like to ask for any recommendations you can offer to help us 'get into' this part of wine. We love New World Riesling varieties from NZ and other countries but have either found the old world unfathomable or been disappointed by our attempts. Any current drinking recommendations of up to £20 per bottle would be appreciated. I suspect we are not alone among your membership in not yet fully...
