2003 southern Rhône reds

Hi Jancis, do you have info on Gourt de Mautens 2003 Rasteau ? I have read about the domaine and bought ‘98, ‘00, ‘01. But despite of lots of praise I was not impressed except on opening a bottle just after release. Is 2003 better?
The Americans seem to love it. What am I missing? If you have tasted ’03 please let me know what you think. Or any other person. Is s outhern Rhône ‘03 to be re rated downwards? Or does it depend on the producer in ‘03 and is Gourt one of the successes?
