Constantino ports explained...

Wayne Andrews, Newfoundland: I recently tasted a wine labelled Crasto, fine old rich, v.o.r. port; produce of the celebrated Quinta do Crasto; Alto Douro; old in wood; tinto-aloirado-doce s.v.p Constantino s.a.r.l; Oporto; Constantino's port. It probably arived in my province of Newfoundland in 1969. It looked and tasted like a fine tawny port. I can find very little on the net about this port or Constantino and the relationship with Quinta do Crasto.
