Off to ski in France and thirsty for wine tips

Fired up by the Winter Olympics, we are off to Megève in the Haut Savoie to catch the last of the winter fun. However, this not being a region especially known for its wine, does anyone have suggestions for what local wines might be worth looking out for on the lists of local restaurants?
