Great times and wines in Argentina

Jan Karsten, São Paulo, Brazil: I wonder if you have lately tasted any wine from Argentina? I spent four days there (Buenos Aires) celebrating my seventh anniversary and had the chance to taste very interesting wines. On the value side ($18), San Pedro de Yacochuya 2003 Cafayete had a  deep colour, long finish, 100per cent Malbec with an impressive 15.9 per cent alcohol. Viña de Davalos ($45), also from Salta and 100 per cent Malbec, had 16 per cent (!!) very intense. The peak of the weekend was Flechas de los Andes 2004  (just released by Benjamin Rothschild and Dassault), creative...
