Is the style of Australian Shiraz changing?

Bruno Vorburger, Cham, Switzerland: I have some questions about my favourite grape Shiraz/ Syrah:  I noticed that the more recent Shiraz wines you find in Australia are focused on wonderful primary fruit (e g  Tatiarra, Two Hands ) and less oaky than for example in 1998 ( Coriole Lloyd Reserve, Stonewell ). I have to say that I was surprised and disappointed with the latter when we tasted them together although it may be an unfair comment as the wines were young, 2003 and 2004.
