When to drink RD champagne

Am I right to think that RD [recently disgorged] champagne should be drunk soon after release and doesn't improve as the straight wine of the same vintage does? In any case, do you have any experience of Bollinger '95 RD? or of the newly released '99 Rosé? Many thanks......

My enthusiastic note on Bollinger RD 1995 can be found at Pink Dom P and other superior champagnes , along with my tasting note on the Bollinger Rosé 1999 . But for some reason (which I shall investigate) these notes have not been entered in the database so they don’t show...
