I thought you might enjoy this little anecdote, which was new to me: Last night I blazed through Beau Brummell by Ian Kelly (Free Press, 393 pages). This book is a charming little antidote to the well ordered world of Jane Austen, one of my favourite authors. Many internet denizens would probably feel right at home in his raucous world.
