Buying wine in France

Do you ever look at Lavinia's prices in Paris? They always seem astronomical to me though having been in France and away from the UK for six years, perhaps I am slightly out of touch (though I know Ch Musar is over 38 euros in Paris and around £13 in the UK). I am keen to buy some 2005 en primeur clarets though I normally buy claret and Sauternes at the traditional September wine fairs at the hypermarkets [in France] where the wines are about 3/4 years old on average and appear very good value.
