Shock results in St-Emilion blind tastings

I was at Herve Salhi's restaurant in Saint-Emilion last month. He is the French agent for Francois Mitjavile's wines (and those of the family). He likes to play a little game where he pits famous wines against less known wines that he happens to be selling. In the process we compared Haut Brion 1999 against Roc de Cambes 1999 (he then very generously opened up a bottle of Tertre Roteboeuf 1999 as well), next we tried Lafite 2001 against Roc de Cambes 2001 , followed by Lafite 2002 against Roc de Cambes 2002 and Figeac 2002 against a new organic wine called Valmengaux...
