Checking up on Cos statistics

I posted the following on Squires' board but I thought you would be interested in this as well. Am I missing something? I sent the following letter to the editor at Wine Spectator (posted to one of their boards) regarding clearly misleading information published in their recent 2005 Bordeaux cover article. I have lots of older Bordeaux books but none, unfortunately, provide detailed information about case production at Cos d'Estournel in 1982. Any supplementary information would be appreciated. Cos d’Estournel’s Jean-Guillaume Prats is quoted in the most recent Wine Spectator...
