Why should one buy 2005 bordeaux now?

For my first child, who was born in 2003, I bought a case of Fonseca port. In the last few weeks I have been studying Bordeaux 2005 as an alternative for my second son. In the last Decanter magazine Serena Sutcliffe is suggesting to pick this vintage up later without financing it for years. Do you have any suggestions?
