Martin Nettleton, Yorks: A couple of lovely days in London last week: lunch at Ramsay's Royal Hospital Road, Marriage of Figaro at Covent Garden and then Gevrey Chambertin Masterclass at Christie's. During lunch I had the chance to try out Didier Dagueneau, Pur Sang 2004 Pouilly Fumé , assembled in bottle, that I had tried in its constituent parts at the winery last May. On that occasion I had high hopes and found the contrast of different levels of barrel toast quite informative.  What a HUGE disappointment then to try the wine in bottle (decanted actually) and find it at first rather mean, lots of...
