A Cambridge team shows the French how to taste bordeaux

Aidan Craig, Cambridge: News of a small English triumph last month -  for some time, the Commanderie du Bontemps du Médoc et Graves has hosted a Bordeaux-centred wine competition called the Vingt sur Vin, the proper pronunciation of which is, as far as I can tell, impossible for an English-speaker. In the past few years, this has been expanded to include three-person teams from Oxford and Cambridge, along with the two top teams from the French academies (Science Po and Dauphine this year). Admittedly, the Pol Roger-sponsored Oxford-Cambridge match and the tendency of Cambridge fellows to hoard their claret...
