Yu-Sen Lin, Taiwan: After three days’ visits in Bierzo, I still have some doubt about Mencí­a grape. In the Oxford Companion you wrote: “A local strain of Cabernet Franc introduced to Galicia in the 19th century also, confusingly, goes by this name.”    Does it mean that what we drink today as Mencí­a could be made by two different varieties Cabernet Franc and the real Mencí­a?
