Should I buy 2005 bordeaux in magnum or bottle?

Bryan Davies, Aylesbury: I have bought Bordeaux futures (Right and Left Bank, and Sauternes) in many recent vintages and have always ordered 37.5cl (halves) for the sweet wines and 75cl (bottles) for the reds in their boxes. But the likely greatness of the 2005 wines has found me slightly edgy, or even nervous, since it will be a very long time waiting for them to come around. I will always order Sauternes in half bottles as they become so generously sweet in maturity that only a small amount I consider sensible for friends at the close of a meal for a dinner party.
