Does my palate have the gift of foresight?
David Churchill, Toronto: Jancis, I'm slightly confused by the 'dates' attached to your tasting notes, or what I assume are tasting dates. Please see this example (at the very end). It can't be 12 jan 09! I've found this 'future' review more than once on the tasting notes. Ch Calon Ségur, Premier Cru, Cru Classé 1996 St-Estèphe 17.5 Drink 2003-13 This is a wine with real punch. Deep crimson colour with some evolution at the rim. It spreads impressively and beguilingly over the palate. Very confident, typical St Estephe although it is not yet ready.
