Comments on John Duval and his wines

Sydney should know better than to serve the 2004 Plexus this earl. We have some 2003 which still needs a good decanting before serving (up to 24 hrs), but once there it is a silky dream. Based on John's credentials in making Grange which needs great ageing, you need to give these wines some time to [develop?]. Although John quite clearly states that this is not a baby Grange, but notwithstanding this it is made from the 'Liquid Diamond' vineyards of Ebenezer.
This is a wine to buy, especially at this great price. Remember when Oddbins were selling E&E...
