What's this horse sweat smell?

Are you familiar with a term used to describe the aroma of a wine as "horse sweat"? I am not. Curious as to your experience.

This sounds like the characteristic smell of Brettanomyces, something that can dominate a wine if present in too high a concentration although many tasters, including Robert Parker incidentally, seem happy to tolerate low-level concentrations of it. Other tasters, such as Australian Gilbert Labour who wrote about it here recently, regard even a trace of Brett as a fault.
