Are top 2003s really too expensive?
Mark Knott, UK: Firstly I would like to say thank you very much regarding your tasting notes for Bordeaux 2003. I did get an opportunity to try some of these for myself and found that your judgments very much agreed with my own. This was very useful. My other point concerns the prices of some wines. Whilst I agree this is disappointing, I don't believe that e.g. Montrose is too expensive to drink. I did purchase a case of this and it is certainly my intention to drink it, though it was for me a fairly significant financial outlay.
