John Ward, USA: You have written eloquently on the subject of cork and the various alternative closures being used. However, you have concentrated on keeping the wine in (and fresh) rather than getting it out. My wife cannot get into our latest Mâcon Villages without assistance. I've now bought a heavy duty lever screw that will do the job, but I then need pliers to get the cork off the screw after use.
