Rami, GB: At lunch at the Italian Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman , Jordan I saw they had listed the Massaya Silver Selection Rouge 1999 Lebanon at £30 and the Gold Reserve 2000 at £60 a bottle. We had the cheaper one served in large, han- made Riedel claret glasses. The wine, as you say, is a Bordeaux style, elegant on the light side, and at the lower end of the scale of complexity.
