I just read your article about wine and food and the comment made about India 's extreme attitude to use alcohol as a mere way to get drunk fast. I am not Indian, actually European, but living in India for a few months.
Wine culture has not yet sunk in the country. But neither has it in places like Chile where wine drinking is not part of the habits of the bulk of the population. India has currently a mere 1% of wine amateurs who like to meet and share a few good bottles of claret...
