Are Bordeaux's 2002s good value?

I'm about to make a significant (for me) purchase of 2002 Bordeaux - for the sentimental reason that it was the year our daughter, Isabel, was born. Though I live in Tokyo, I buy my Bordeaux from a US retailer (in Rochester, NY).
