Tesco online problems?
Fred Kavalier, London: Tesco may be a good place to buy champagne, but I would be careful when buying online (see Sunday Times front page article 12 dec). I recently bought 24 bottles of Lindauer Special Reserve online from Tesco. The wine that arrived was labelled Lindauer Special Select. When I queried this with Tesco, they replied: "The order you received was the correct wine." Lindauer Special Reserve is labelled as "Bottle Fermented" and made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It won a silver medal in the 2004 International Wine Challenge. The Lindauer Special Select label simply says "sparkling wine". There is no...
