A deal in Dubai
Neil, Middle East: I was in Dubai this past weekend and thought I would pass on some information your readers might appreciate. The Grand Hyatt jazz bar called Cooz has a 70 Dirham/US$20 special on 11 different kinds of wine: one price, drink as much as you like, including champagne, from 6pm to 9pm. The other night they were serving Escobera 2002 Jumilla. The name rang a bell. No it was not Columbia but your write-up on this Spanish wine. What a steal at this price! It was my first chance to try this wine and it is very, very smooth...So if anyone is travelling to Dubai, I would recommend dropping into Cooz and check out the wines...
