How to use the new tasting notes search

I tried the tasting notes search, keying in "Chateau Palmer/1990/Bordeaux/red" and "Chateau Pichon-Longueville, Comtesse de Lalande/1986/Bordeaux/red". Both searches failed to find a note. Is that because there are none on those particular wines, or am I doing something wrong?
