In our informal Handford Tasters sessions we will give a brief introduction of how to taste and differentiate between styles of wine, learn to understand your own palate as well as take on board some of the lingo. We will give you a brief introduction to tasting technique, introduce some well known grape varieties and their flavour precursors and discuss some of the other influences on a wine’s taste and character. This informal tasting is pitched at the enthusiastic beginner and is designed to answer any questions you may have. (*The cost of the session is refundable against a purchase of six or more bottles of wine on the evening.)
