1976 Red Bordeaux 40 years on

1976 has always been a pretty overlooked vintage in Bordeaux and the feeling was always that it was too hot but in recent years we have been very pleasantly surprised by how good some of the wines are at the top end have turned out to be and as so often in Bordeaux one write’s off a vintage at your peril. We cannot remember having previously seen a horizontal from this year and at 40 years old thought this would be the ideal and probably last chance to do so. We will be looking at
