21st Century Vino is a day-long conversation, exploration and celebration of the diversity of Australian wine. Hear the stories, taste the wines and meet the people who are taking ‘alternative’ Italian varieties, growing them in the right places, making them thoughtfully and crafting the new face of Australian wine in the 21st Century.
For one day in May, Zinc at Federation Square will be transformed into a hub of discussion, debate and exceptional wines.
Featuring a forum of three master classes from 10.30am to 4.30pm followed by a producer showcase and open tasting from 5.00-8.30pm this event will open your mind and your palate to a world of Australian alternative varieties; one that is becoming more and more celebrated, acknowledged and enjoyed.
We tell the whole story and share perspectives from not just the wine industry, but those that have the knowledge and opinions that can transform the way we think and view the wine world.

An opportunity to see how the grapes and vines Chalmers have shared around the country are shaping up in the soil, the bottle and the marketplace.
