A Bordeaux Evening with Pierre Lawton and Ted Murphy (Bringing the Wine Geese Home)

July's edition of Bringing the Wine Geese Home welcomes Pierre Lawton (Chateau Lawton, Bordeaux) to Cork for a "A Bordeaux Evening". Pierre is an 8th generation Wine Merchant from one of the most respected wine families in Bordeaux with strong Cork connections: one of his ancestors, whose portrait is on display in the Crawford Art Gallery, was Lord Mayor of Cork in the 1700's, so it is fitting that the Crawford will be the venue for this event.
Joining Pierre will be Dr. Ted Murphy, author of "A Kingdom of Wine – The Story of Ireland's Wine Geese, and expert on all matters Wine Geese related. Together these gentlemen will give a talk and tasting on some of the more celebrated Bordeaux wines.
This is the 7th event in the Bringing the Wine Geese Home Series and promises to be one of the highlights of the Wine Geese Calendar!
