This February, Canard-Duchêne Champagne are hosting an exclusive Champagne banquet in the beautiful brick arches of Vinopolis. Starting with a Champagne reception, guests will be accompanied by Alexis Petit-Gats from Canard-Duchêne Champagne House. Coming to London especially to bring this historic French tradition to life, Alexis will introduce each of the four courses with a special Champagne to match and will also conduct a live traditional sabrage demonstration. Guests will be treated to an unforgettable evening including:
- Canard-Duchêne Champagne Reception at 6.30pm
- Live sabrage demonstration – a spectacular traditional technique where a bottle of champagne is opened with a sabre.
- Four-course banquet, with each course matched perfectly to a different champagne. The host will introduce the course and the champagne, guiding the guests on the match and champagne style, encouraging guests to ask questions, discuss their favourite matches and of course sit back and enjoy the experience.
The meal will be an intimate and leisurely affair giving guests a unique opportunity to chat about food and wine with one of France’s most esteemed Champagne Houses.
