Charcuterie and Wine Matching Evening

Yes that’s right. Meat. And wine. We’re all used to the idea that you have a glass of red with your steak, but as with cheese there are so many different meats, that the wine matching possibilities are vast! On the Charcuterie and Wine Matching evening we will match six different wines to six different cured meats, all sourced from the fabulous English charcuteries ecperts: The Charcuterie Board. We'll explore what works well together and why, and how to get the most out of your food and wine matches. The matches will include at least some of the following:
Sparkling wine with Guanciale
Albarino with orange and mustard glazed ham
Torrontes with Chilli pork loin
Rioja Gran Reserva with copa
Shiraz with wild boar salami
The actual combinations may vary on each night, but we guarantee that each will be delicious! We will also provide a selection of crackers, professional ISO tasting glasses and tasting notes. Not suitable for vegetarians.
